Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Lonely, also referred to as Less Lonely, including our mobile application, website, and related services. By creating an account, accessing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lonely. By using the service, you confirm that you are 18 or older, can enter into a binding agreement, and are not prohibited from using the service under applicable law.

2. Accounts and Security

You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. The Service

Lonely provides social features such as posts, comments, profiles, discovery, friend requests, messaging, counters, reports, blocking, notifications, premium features, and other tools that may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, post, upload, or send through Lonely, including text, photos, profile information, comments, and messages. By providing content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, moderate, translate, distribute, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, promote, and protect the service.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights needed to share it. We may remove or restrict content that we believe violates these Terms, our policies, the rights of others, or applicable law.

5. Community Rules

You agree not to use Lonely to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, exploit, or harm another person.
• Post or send sexual content involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, or content that exploits or endangers anyone.
• Post hate speech, violent threats, graphic violence, illegal content, or content promoting dangerous activity.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Share spam, scams, malware, phishing links, wallet scams, or deceptive promotions.
• Collect, scrape, or misuse other users' information.
• Interfere with, reverse engineer, attack, overload, or bypass security or access controls of the service.
• Use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of another person's rights.

6. Reports, Blocking, and Moderation

Users may report posts or block other users. We may review reports, remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take other action at our discretion. We are not obligated to monitor all content and do not guarantee that all objectionable content will be removed immediately.

7. Messages and Interactions

Lonely may allow messaging and social interactions between users. You are responsible for your communications. Do not share sensitive personal information unless you choose to do so at your own risk. We may restrict messaging to protect users, prevent spam, or enforce privacy settings.

8. Premium Features, Subscriptions, and Ads

Some features may require payment or a premium subscription. Purchases and renewals are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or another payment provider. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and billing are subject to the terms of the applicable store or provider.

The service may display ads or rewarded ads. We may change ad availability, premium benefits, usage limits, or subscription features from time to time.

9. App Stores and Third-Party Services

Your use of Lonely may also be subject to rules from Apple, Google, Firebase, Google Sign-In, Apple Authentication, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, hosting providers, and other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, policies, outages, or actions.

10. Intellectual Property

Except for user content, Lonely and its software, design, trademarks, logos, and materials are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

11. Account Termination

You may stop using Lonely at any time. You may delete your account where this option is available in the app or contact us for assistance. We may suspend or terminate your account, remove content, or restrict access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, caused harm, or used the service unlawfully.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and security.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, safe, or free of harmful content. User content and user interactions are not endorsed by us.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lonely and its owners, operators, employees, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or unauthorized access arising from or related to your use of the service.

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lonely from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice in the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
